How GamingFansites verifies item values, codes, wiki articles and news — and why you can trust the data on this platform.

Our Commitment to Accuracy
GamingFansites was built on one principle: Roblox traders deserve accurate, manipulation-free data. Every value, code and article on this platform goes through a verification process before it is shown to the community. We do not accept payments to influence item values, and no single person can set prices unilaterally.
We are an independent fansite with no affiliation with Roblox Corporation or any individual game developer. Our data is community-driven — the same players who trade these items every day are the ones who maintain their values.
How Item Values Are Determined
Item values on GamingFansites are set exclusively through community voting — not by admins, not by paying users, and not by the site owner. Here is how the process works:
- Any logged-in user can cast an upvote or downvote on an item's suggested value range.
- Values update automatically based on the aggregate of community votes over a rolling time window.
- Suspicious voting patterns (bot voting, coordinated manipulation) are detected and filtered automatically.
- Trade Specialists (senior community members with a verified track record) can flag values for review if the community consensus appears skewed.
We deliberately do not use RAP (Recent Average Price) as a value signal because RAP is easily manipulated through wash trading. Our values reflect what real players are actually willing to trade — not inflated exchange-log averages.
Code Verification Process
Every game code listed on GamingFansites is sourced from official developer channels — primarily the official Discord server of each game, where developers announce codes first. GamingFansites does not create game codes; we only track and verify them.
- Source confirmation: Every code must be traced back to an official developer announcement (Discord, Twitter/X, YouTube, or in-game notification).
- Two-factor verification: Before a code goes live on the site, a second independent team member must confirm it works in-game.
- Expiry tracking: Expired codes are marked clearly and moved to the expired section. We never silently delete codes — the history remains visible.
- We never ask for your Roblox password. Redeeming codes is done entirely within the game. Any site claiming otherwise is a scam.
GamingFansites coupon codes (redeemable on this website for cosmetics, Shop Points, XP or VIP days) are a separate system and are distributed directly by our team via giveaways and events. They have no connection to Roblox and do not involve real money.
Wiki & News Standards
Wiki articles and news are created by community contributors who have earned a content role (Helper, Scholar, or Archivest) through activity and experience on the platform. A tiered publishing workflow prevents unreviewed content from going live:
- Helpers can create drafts but cannot publish.
- Scholars can publish their own articles and review others' drafts.
- Archivests can edit any article and manage the content structure.
All published content is subject to community reporting. Any user can flag inaccurate or inappropriate content using the report button, and reports are reviewed by the relevant site team within 48 hours.
Update Cadence
- Item values:Updated in real time as community votes are cast. Major value shifts after game updates are reviewed within 24 hours.
- Codes:Monitored daily. New codes are added within hours of a developer announcement. Expired codes are flagged automatically and verified manually.
- Wiki:Major game patches trigger a content review by the Archivest team within 72 hours of the patch going live.
- News:Published as events occur, with no minimum posting frequency requirement. Quality over quantity.
