Aesho

The Aesho is a vibrant Tier 3 semi-aquatic herbivore that thrives equally on land and in the shallows of Sonaria's waterways. Its most distinctive feature is a pair of external gills on either side of its face — the hallmark of a creature fully comfortable in aquatic environments. It has a slim jaw with small sharp teeth and a lengthy blue tongue, while its torso is adorned with three layers of feathery scales that give it an elegant, almost coral-like silhouette. A large fin covers its coiled tail and rounded fins extend from its front legs to aid in water maneuvering. Vivid stripes run across its head, back, legs, and tail, making it one of the more colorful creatures in its tier. Small tendrils with bulbous ends decorate both its head and rear, and males feature whisker-like chin structures while females have distinctly pointy fins at the tail base. The Aesho's semi-aquatic nature makes it adaptable and surprisingly hard to pin down in mixed-terrain encounters. Though not a fierce predator, its durable build and aquatic agility make it a competent survivor. Inspired loosely by the axolotl, it is available through the Time Points Shop for 120 minutes of active playtime — a reward for dedication rather than luck.
