How to Redeem The Portal Codes

The Portal codes hand you items you would otherwise spend hours farming: Race Reroll Mirrors, Job Change Masks, Stats Reset Scrolls, plus the occasional tool set like a Fishing Rod, Axe and Pickaxe, a glider, a pet ticket, or a full mount. Codes drop in two situations. Either the game hits a like milestone on Roblox, or a bigger update goes live. Both happen on no fixed schedule, sometimes twice in a week. Here's what matters for you: most codes die with the next update. A code from a three week old YouTube video is usually already gone. We check this list against the official Discord and the in-game announcements. Active codes sit at the top, expired ones stay listed below instead of getting deleted. That way you can tell at a glance whether a code you picked up somewhere still works. Redeeming takes under 30 seconds. Here are the steps.

Launch The Portal on Roblox

Open The Portal on Roblox and wait for the world to finish loading. There is no level requirement. You can redeem codes right after creating your character.

Open the Settings menu

Look at the icon bar on the right edge of your screen and click Settings. It's the bottom one, below Quest, Character, Party, Inventory, Reward, Shop and Mail. On mobile the bar sits in the same place, just smaller.

Switch to the Account tab

The settings window lists Audio, Graphics, Cosmetic, Gameplay, Camera and Account down the left side. Pick Account. The "Enter code here..." field appears on the right with the Claim button next to it.

Paste in a code

Copy an active code from the list above and paste it with Ctrl + V. Typing works too, but that's where most failed redemptions come from. Watch out for a trailing space at the end.

Hit Claim

Click Claim. If the code is valid, the rewards go straight to your account. You can clear the field and enter the next code right away, no need to close the menu.

Check your rewards

Close settings and open your inventory with [B]. Race Reroll Mirrors, scrolls and masks show up there as normal items. Mounts and pets need to be used once before they appear in their own menu.

My code isn't working, what now? Nine times out of ten it expired. After that comes a typo, then "already redeemed" (each code works once per account). If the button does nothing at all, you might be on a server running an older build. Leave, wait a moment, and rejoin. When do new codes come out? Usually at like milestones or alongside updates. If the game just got patched, that same day is worth a check. How long do codes stay active? It varies. Some last several weeks, beta and event codes sometimes only a few days.
