At 350 Tria it is the first serious purchase a farmer makes, costing more than seven bags of Tomato Seeds and many times what a plot of wheat is worth. It occupies the right hand slot, which means it competes with whatever weapon you normally carry. Swapping to the basket to harvest and back to a sword to travel is the usual routine, and it is worth setting up a hotbar slot for the swap before you buy. Farmers who skip that step end up walking into mobs holding a basket. Only Leaf sells it. Stock is thin and the shelf sits empty most of the time, with a restock timer around two minutes. Two minutes is short enough to wait out, so an "Out of stock" message on a 350 Tria item is an inconvenience rather than a real barrier. The vendor buys it back at 13 Tria. That is a 337 Tria loss on a change of mind, the worst buyback ratio of anything on the farming shelf. Be certain you are farming seriously before spending the Tria, because there is no recovering it. Whether the basket pays for itself depends entirely on how much you harvest. A player planting a few carrots between quests will never earn it back. Someone running a full plot of magic berries or tomatoes across a season clears the cost quickly, since the basket applies to every pickup rather than a single crop. Harvest Basket carries no level or class restriction and costs nothing to unlock. The 350 Tria is the only gate. Sturdier than it looks, and it does not wear out, so the purchase is one-time. Buy it once you have a plot you actually maintain, not on your first day of farming. Spend the early Tria on seeds and let the plot fund the basket.
