Simple Bread
Simple Bread restores 60 HP on a 2 second cooldown and costs 70 Tria plus 14. That works out to roughly 1.17 Tria per point of health, which makes it the most expensive healing in Dewdrop Village per point restored. Gourmet Roast manages 0.60 and Hearty Stew 0.93. So why buy it. Because 60 HP is often exactly the right amount. Chip damage on a gathering route, a low-level mob that clipped you, the slow attrition of walking between ore nodes. Eating a 350 HP roast for a scratch wastes 290 points of healing and a much larger pile of Tria. Bread is the small denomination. Arlette and Rendall both sell it, which covers either side of the village without a detour. The 2 second cooldown means repeated bites work in combat, not just between fights. Where that falls apart is against anything hitting for more than 60 in a swing. You lose ground faster than the cooldown lets you recover it, and no amount of bread fixes that. Switch to Hearty Stew at 150 HP or Gourmet Roast at 350 for real fights. Vendors buy it back at 2 Tria. Not worth carrying leftovers between sessions. Plain bread that fills the stomach, and it comes from the same wheat you can grow yourself. Wheat Seeds cost 5 Tria a bag and finish in just under ten minutes at 1kg during Spring or Autumn, which makes a wheat plot the cheapest food chain available. Growing your own removes the 84 Tria vendor price entirely. Simple Bread carries no level or class restriction and needs nothing unlocked. Worth keeping a stack for travel and light content, where its low value per bite is actually the point. For anything that fights back properly, spend the Tria on denser food instead of trying to out-eat the damage.
