DEF +18 and Max HP +90, the heaviest protection Breda sells. Pot Armor is a barrel worn as a chest piece, and it smells faintly of whatever the barrel held before you put it on. HP regeneration at +2.0 per second is the number that makes this piece unusual. Every other chest piece Breda stocks regenerates at +1.0, so Pot Armor heals you back twice as fast between fights. Over a levelling session that saves more Simple Bread at 70 Tria a loaf than the stat line suggests. The cost is written plainly as Move Speed -1.0, the steepest movement penalty on any armour piece. You will feel it walking between camps, and it stacks with the matching Kettle Crown and Kettle Greaves, which each carry the same -1.0. Wearing the full set means moving considerably slower than anyone in cloth. MDEF +4 is low, and that is the trade the whole line makes. Pot Armor stops physical damage well and magic damage badly. Against casters you are wearing a barrel, which helps roughly as much as it sounds. VIT 17 and 1750 Tria are the gates. That vitality requirement is the highest on any chest piece here, so this is a piece you grow into rather than start with. Tin Tortoise drops it at 3.93%, roughly one per 25 kills. Cog Crab at 0.22% and Kettle Beetle at 0.18% both drop it too, but at one in 450 and one in 555 neither is worth planning a session around. Farm tortoises or pay Breda. Breda buys it back at 65 Tria. Pot Armor needs nothing unlocked beyond VIT 17. Take it if you tank. A Defender holding a shield and soaking physical hits gets everything this piece offers, and the movement penalty matters less when your job is standing still. Anyone kiting, casting or relying on positioning should look at Dustwalker Vest instead, which trades 40 health for MDEF +9 and a much lighter -0.3 speed cost.
