For a dexterity build that fights fast, takes some hits and occasionally eats a spell, that spread is more useful than specialising in either direction. Move Speed -0.6 lands in the middle too. Pot Armor costs -1.0, Dustwalker Vest -0.3. On a build relying on attack speed and crit rate rather than raw defence, that half-second of mobility is worth having. HP regeneration runs at +1.0 per second and MP regeneration at +1.0. Three mobs drop it. Tin Tortoise at 3.93%, roughly one per 25 kills, is the one to farm. Cup Snail at 0.25% and Patch Hound at 0.18% are both around one in 400 to 555 and not worth a dedicated session. Breda pays 65 Tria to buy it back. Trailblazer Vest needs nothing unlocked beyond DEX 17. DEX 17 is a high bar and the same requirement Claymore carries on the strength side, so this is late-game armour for a dagger build rather than something you pick up while levelling. The case for it: dagger builds trade defence for speed on every fight, which means they take more incoming damage than a shield build does and cannot afford to be as fragile as a caster. Trailblazer Vest is the only chest piece that acknowledges that. Cloth leaves you too soft, and the heavy line slows down the attack-speed advantage the build is built around.
