Attack Speed +0.03x and Cast Speed +0.03x with DEF +2 and MDEF +1. Between Kettle Mitts at +0.02x speed with DEF +3 and Dustwalker Gloves at +0.05x speed with DEF +1, these land exactly in the middle on every line. That is what the whole Trailblazer set does, and whether it appeals depends on whether you want a piece that covers everything adequately or one that does a single thing well. For a dagger build the attack speed is the relevant half. Amethyst Dirk already brings Attack Speed +0.12x, and another +0.03x on top compounds with the crit rate the build is stacking. Faster swings mean more crit rolls, which is how the whole playstyle generates damage. The gloves arrive Unidentified. Identifying them reveals properties beyond what the shop shows, so the visible stat block understates the item. Tin Tortoise drops them at 7.74%, roughly one per thirteen kills. Patch Hound also drops them at 0.18%, one in 555, and is not worth hunting for this. Breda buys them back at 26 Tria. Trailblazer Gloves need nothing unlocked beyond DEX 12. DEX 12 is the same gate Trailblazer Hood carries, and between the two the gloves cost 350 Tria less. Fill this slot first. At 700 Tria it is the cheapest piece of equipment Breda stocks, and the attack speed applies to every fight for as long as you wear them.
