Stacking the chain with the bracelet puts 80 extra mana on your bar from accessories alone, before the staff contributes anything. For an Enchanter that changes the rhythm of a long fight. More mana means fewer interruptions to drink, and Mana Cake at 210 Tria a slice is the cheapest mana restore available, so anything that reduces how often you eat one pays back over time. Long odds for a deliberate farm, though tortoises drop enough other useful gear that the chain turns up eventually for anyone grinding them. The chain arrives Unidentified. No stat requirement is attached, so it can be equipped at any level. Where it sits in a caster's buying order: after the staff and after Dustwalker Boots, both of which do more for less. Caged Prism at 1750 Tria raises magic attack, cast speed and mana together. Silver Chain raises only one of those. Buy it once the obvious upgrades are done and you are looking for somewhere to put spare Tria.
