That is five times what Peasant Trousers cost at 350 Tria, for a piece that provides exactly the same amount of defence, health and movement, which is none. Every item in the Clothing slot is cosmetic. The 1750 Tria buys the cut and nothing else. Whether that is absurd depends on what you want from the game. A player who has finished the tool line, has a working farm and a mount is going to spend Tria on something, and looking like you can afford not to work is a reasonable thing to spend it on. Breda pays 65 Tria to buy them back, which recovers under four percent. Noble Vestments at the same 1750 Tria complete the outfit for 3500 Tria total. That is the price of a Cow, or two Explorer Rucksacks short of nothing useful. The comparison is worth making once before committing, because clothing does not appreciate and does not stack. No level or stat requirement is attached, so a character in patched armour can wear noble trousers. The mismatch is visible and some players lean into it deliberately. Where they sit against Warden Legguards at 2450 Tria: those look like plate and read as military. These read as wealth. Neither does anything mechanically, so pick by what you want the character to say rather than by price. Buy them late. 1750 Tria is Voidguard, Pot Armor or a Sheep, all of which change what you can do rather than how you look doing it.
