Commoner Tunic at 700 Tria is also white linen, and the difference between the two is entirely in the cut and the waistcoat over it. Paying an extra 1050 Tria for that is either obviously worth it or obviously not, depending on how much time you spend looking at your own character. No stats, as with everything in the Clothing slot. Your Chest armour underneath keeps every point of DEF, MDEF and Max HP it provides. Wearing Noble Vestments over Pot Armor costs nothing defensively and looks considerably better than a barrel. Breda buys them back at 65 Tria. The full noble outfit with Noble Trousers runs 3500 Tria. Worth naming the alternatives once: that is a Cow from Hogan, a Leather Satchel at 4900 most of the way paid off, or three and a half Hay Bundles short of nothing. Cosmetics compete with real purchases and the game does not hide it. No level or stat requirement applies. Where the vestments beat Warden Robes at 2450 Tria: they are 700 Tria cheaper and read as civilian. Warden Robes are layered steel and fur and read as someone expecting a fight. Both are pure cosmetics, so the choice is entirely about the character you want to present. The crisp white linen is worth one practical note. It reads clean against almost every armour set in the game, which makes Noble Vestments one of the easier pieces to combine with mismatched trousers if you are not buying a full set. A waistcoat over Traveler Trousers at 1050 Tria costs 2800 total and looks intentional.
