Wood that hums with magic, and the trees gave it up willingly. Enchanted Wood goes into Heartwood Maul, Forest Stag and Rootcleaver, which happen to be the three heaviest recipes in the forest tier. That placement matters. All three of those weapons need 12 units, against 6 or 3 for the lighter recipes that use other materials. Building all three costs 36 Enchanted Wood, roughly 312 Grandfather Clock kills at its 11.54% drop rate. Chair Treant and Porcelain Golem also drop it at 2.96%. Vendors pay 10 Tria, matching the rest of the mid-tier forest materials. Do not confuse it with Enchanted Bark, which sells for the same 10 Tria, drops at the same rate from the same mob and goes into entirely different recipes. Nor with plain Wood, the Craftwork material at 1 Tria that comes from Spore Deer and can be chopped with an Axe. Enchanted Wood is MonsterLoot with no gathering path. No level or class restriction, and no vendor stocks it. The detail about the trees giving it up is doing some work. Every other forest material is taken: bark stripped, moss scraped, sap crystallized, vine cut. This one was handed over, which is either the forest cooperating or the forest arranging something. For anyone planning the top end of the tier, this is the second-heaviest material commitment after Living Bark, and both come off the same mob. Grandfather Clock covers your whole mid-tier list.
