Grandfather Clock drops it at 11.54%, roughly one per nine kills. Teapot Toadstool follows at 2.96%. Vendors buy it at 10 Tria. Only two known sources makes it slightly narrower than Briar Vine or Enchanted Bark, which come off four mobs each. In practice that changes nothing, because Grandfather Clock is where you farm every mid-tier forest material anyway and the secondary sources are too slow to matter. The two recipes it feeds are an odd pair. Briar Blade is a one-handed sword at STR 35 with P.ATK +61 and Damage Up +10%. Heartwood Maul is a two-handed blunt at VIT 37 with Ignore DEF +25%. A strength weapon and a vitality weapon sharing a magic-flavoured ingredient, which fits the general pattern in this tier: the materials describe the forest, not the weapon. No level or class restriction, and no shop sells it. Eighteen units covers both recipes, around 156 Grandfather Clock kills. That is a real session but not the limiting factor. Heartwood Maul also needs 4 Fossilized Amber and Briar Blade 2, and amber is where forest crafting actually slows down. If you are only building one, Briar Blade at 6 units is the cheaper commitment by half and the better everyday weapon, since it keeps your shield.
