Breda's armour regenerates at +1.0 and these pieces double it. Wearing three or four of them does not stack the regeneration, but the shift from +1.0 to +2.0 halves the time spent waiting between fights, which over a levelling session saves more Simple Bread at 70 Tria a loaf than the defence numbers suggest. Pipe Greaves need nothing unlocked beyond VIT 25. Farm rather than craft. At 15.98% from Lycaros this is a short session, while the recipe wants Junk Core that Barrel Champion drops at 0.64%. That ratio holds across every armour piece in the tier and it is the single most useful thing to know before opening the craft window.
