Lycaros drops them at 15.98%, roughly one per six kills, and Junk King at 7.74%. Gloves are the cheapest slot to fill in every tier, and this is no exception. The recipe wants 12 Wood, 6 Scrap Metal, 3 Rusty Gear and 1 Junk Core, which is the smallest commitment at Eren's bench and the same as Thornprick or Goblin Fork Stabber. One core rather than two or four makes it the sensible piece to actually build rather than farm. Can Crushers carry no unlock requirement beyond the vitality gate. What they do not offer is any of the speed modifiers Breda's gloves carried. Kettle Mitts gave Attack Speed +0.02x and Cast Speed +0.02x on top of DEF +3. Can Crushers trade those away for double the defence, which suits a Defender and does nothing for anyone else. Build these if you are crafting anything in this tier. One Junk Core is affordable, the drop rate is good enough that you will likely see a spare, and a filled glove slot is worth more than the six defence implies simply because most players leave it empty.
