Fourteen defence sits between X-Eyes Sack at +10 and Soupbucket at +20, exactly where the dexterity line always lands. MDEF +7 is the best magic defence of the three helmets here, which is a small surprise given the caster option exists. Vendors pay 78 Tria. Lycaros drops it at 15.98%, about one per six kills, and Junk King at 3.93%. Floppsy Hood needs nothing unlocked beyond the dexterity gate. Against Trailblazer Hood from Breda at DEF +8 and Max HP +40, this adds six defence and seven magic defence. A modest step rather than a leap, and helmets remain the slot where tier upgrades do least. The ears are cosmetic and the game is clearly aware of it. Junk-tier equipment is built from goblin leavings throughout, and where the vitality line got a cook pot and the caster line got a sack with eyes cut into it, dexterity players get to look like the thing they have been killing. Nobody in this tier is dressed with dignity. Worth farming for the slot rather than the stats. Six Lycaros kills is a short detour and an empty helmet slot is fourteen defence you are not using.
