Gloves contribute less than any other slot and the differences between the three options are small enough to ignore. Recipe: 12 Wood, 6 Scrap Metal, 3 Rusty Gear and 1 Junk Core. One core makes this one of the few armour pieces genuinely worth building rather than farming, since the material cost is the same as a Goblin Fork Stabber and considerably lighter than anything else in the tier. Vendors pay 52 Tria. Lycaros drops them at 15.98%, Junk King at 7.74% and Critter Goblin at 0.25%. Scrap Gauntlets need nothing unlocked beyond DEX 22. DEX 22 arriving before DEX 25 and DEX 27 makes these the entry point into the tier for a dagger build. Junker Pants need 25, Scrapmail 27, so this is what you wear first while the rest is still out of reach. What they lack, like every glove in this tier, is the attack speed that Trailblazer Gloves carried at +0.03x. For a build stacking speed and crit that is a genuine loss, and swapping to Scrap Gauntlets for two extra defence is arguably a downgrade.
