Rootweave Pants need nothing unlocked beyond DEX 35. DEX 35 is also when Thornprick becomes available, and between the two the dagger comes first. Attack speed, crit rate and crit damage do more for a dexterity build than twenty-six defence, and Thornprick has the lightest recipe in the entire forest tier at one Fossilized Amber. The warning about standing still is worth reading twice. Live root grows, and the flavour text across this set keeps hinting that the equipment has opinions about being worn. Whether that is mechanical or decorative is not stated anywhere.
