Trailblazer Gloves managed +0.03x and Dustwalker Gloves +0.05x, and every junk-tier and forest-tier glove since has dropped the stat entirely. Amber Fists bring it back at the highest value available, on the piece with the most defence. Ten physical defence is the best of the three forest gloves, ahead of Thorngrasp at +7 and Vinetouch Gloves at +4. VIT 32 matches Elder Bark Helm, which makes those two the entry pair into the vitality line. Recipe: 12 Stone, 3 Memory Sap, 3 Mystic Essence, 3 Ancient Heartwood and 1 Fossilized Amber. Amber Fists need nothing unlocked beyond VIT 32. For once the glove slot is worth prioritising. A Defender running Amber Mallet at Attack Speed +0.02x gains more from another +0.05x than from ten defence, and the combination makes this the only glove in the game that improves how fast you fight rather than just how long you last. The trapped insect is flavour, though it connects to Amber Carapace, where the bugs caught in the sap are also mentioned. The vitality line of this tier is built from things that stopped moving a very long time ago.
