Wooden Sword
A practice sword, blunt as they come, and everyone starts here with splinters included. Wooden Sword is the first weapon Breda sells and the entry point into the sword line at 1050 Tria. The stat spread is stranger than the name suggests. P.ATK +10 and Damage Up +3% are what you expect from a starter blade. Attack Speed +0.03x is small but real. What stands out is Max MP +10 and MP regeneration at +1.0 per second sitting on a piece of melee gear. A wooden practice sword feeding your mana bar makes no thematic sense and it does mean hybrid builds get more out of this than a pure Warrior does. It requires STR 7, so this is a strength weapon and not something an Enchanter picks up for the mana line. One handed, right hand slot, which leaves your off hand free for a shield. 1050 Tria puts it in an awkward spot. That is half a Fishing Rod, three Hoes, or 21 bags of Wheat Seeds. For a starting character the price is a real commitment, and the +10 P.ATK it delivers is modest enough that you will be replacing it before long. Breda buys it back at 39 Tria, so treat the purchase as spent. The right hand slot conflict matters more here than on the gathering tools. Carrying a Wooden Sword means you are not carrying a Pickaxe or a Hoe, so a farming trip involves swapping and a fighting trip involves leaving the tools behind. Set up hotbar binds early. Wooden Sword needs nothing unlocked beyond the STR 7 requirement, which most strength builds clear immediately. Buy it if you are levelling a Warrior or any melee build and have nothing better. The MP bonuses make it a reasonable pick for a hybrid who casts occasionally between swings, and a poor one for anyone who never touches mana. Skip it entirely if a drop or a crafted blade with higher P.ATK is already within reach, since 1050 Tria buys a lot of Hay Bundle or seeds instead.
