One book is not one skill. You consume six copies of Dagger Mastery I to carry the skill from level 1 to level 6, and level 7 needs Dagger Mastery II instead. Passive and weapon-locked to daggers: Wooden Shiv, Amethyst Dirk, Goblin Fork Stabber, Thornprick. Nothing to press and no mana cost. For a dexterity build this compounds with everything the weapon already provides, since daggers work by stacking small multipliers rather than landing one large hit. 350 Tria a copy in the General section of the shop, or 2100 for the full six levels. The Librarian keeps it in the Mastery section.
